Indi Spiced Chicken
Ingredients
6 Chicken Pieces (leg & thigh)
½ tsp INDI Onion Powder
½ tsp INDI Garlic Powder
½ tsp INDI ground Black Pepper
1 tbsp Oil
5 cloves
5 slices of Garlic
3 slices of Ginger
½ tsp INDI Turmeric
½ tsp INDI Paprika
½ tsp INDI Cumin
½ tbsp INDI Curry Powder
¼ Cup of White Wine
3 cups of Chicken Stock
Chopped Fresh Thyme
Salt (optional)
Directions
- In a large bowl, add chicken, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper and marinate
- In a deep fryer, preheat oil to 350 degrees F. Add marinated chicken in pan and fry until golden browned on medium/high heat for 3 minutes. Take chicken out of pan.
- In the same pan, add sliced garlic, ginger, clove, turmeric, paprika, cumin, curry powder and stir for 1 minute.
- Add white wine and stir. Add chicken, chicken stock (broth) and fresh thyme. Bring to a boil and simmer on low heat for 45 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy.
