INDI Roast Chicken


Main Ingredient: Chicken | Duration   1 hour




Ingredients


1 Whole Chicken (4 lbs.)
3 tbsp. INDI Chicken seasoning
1/2 cup boiling water
4-5 Tbsp. Sunnyvale butter (for basting)


Directions


Rinse chicken and pat dry.
- Season chicken with Indi Chicken Seasoning.
- Using kitchen twine, tie chicken so as to help it keep its shape.
- Place chicken uncovered in a bowl in the refrigerator, preferably overnight.
- Preheat Oven to 350 F.
- Bring chicken to room temperature 30 minutes before roasting. To roast place chicken on the rack of a roasting pan.
- In the pan itself, add 1/2 cup of boiling water.
- Carefully place chicken in the oven and let cook for 1 hr.
- Half way into cooking, baste chicken evenly with Sunnyvale Butter and continue to roast until fully cooked.
- Remove from oven and let rest for at least 10 minutes before carving.
